Welcome to 2018 and best wishes to you in the coming New Year! I hope your holidays were packed with joy and relaxation spent with friends and family, and had some time to yourself. Now with the dust settling from the first week of franticness, have you made your resolutions yet?
I would like to share the importance of why you should make New Year Resolutions and some helpful tips and motivation on how to better achieve them.

The Importance of New Year’s Resolutions: Becoming Your Own Leader
New Year’s Resolutions are a chance for an evaluation of how to improve ourselves through self-reflection and by doing so we are exercising one of the main traits of leadership. The reflections can be as small as to continue/improve positive habits or as large as adding positive habit or eliminating negative habit. A paper published in the journal Educational Management Administration & Leadership stated that “truly authentic leadership might only be possible for those leaders who have the commitment and courage to come to know and understand the full extent of the influential power of their whole inner Self”
